He made his first-class debut on 17 december 2019, for Maharashtra in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy. Digvijay made his T-20 debut on 12th November 2019, for Maharashtra in the 2019-20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy..

Just after getting his maiden IPL call-up by MI, Digvijay performed well on his Ranji Trophy debut and he picked up six wickets as well as he has scored 83 in Maharashtra’s second innings against Jammu and Kashmir.
